Laserable Mediums

Laser engraving on:

  • Black Marble will remove the top color layer to reveal a lighter tint underneath. The laser engraving shows considerable detail. Your design looks striking against a solid black marble.
  • Wood will burn to reveal different shades of color.
  • Granite will bleach out the top color and reveal a lighter tint underneath.
  • Glass reveals a frosted shade.
  • Plastic/Acrylic reveals a frosted shade.
  • Stainless Steel will deflect the laser beam. A marking material is applied to the metal, it is then lasered on to reveal a bonded black image.
  • Aluminum will deflect the laser beam. A marking material is applied to the metal, it is then lasered on to reveal a bonded black image. If the Aluminum is coated the laser will remove the coated material and reveal the silver Aluminum underneath.
  • Plain Brass will deflect the laser beam. Brass must be coated with a paint layer, the laser will then remove the coated material and reveal a "gold" look underneath.
